Phu Langka National Park is a protected forest area with rare plant species. This park was established in 2002 and covers an area of approximately 50 square kilometers.
The Mekong River flows through the reserve, there are waterfalls, caves and high mountains - the height of the largest hill is 563 meters above sea level. Many species of exotic orchids and wild roses grow here.
The reserve is home to such animal species as wild boar, bamboo rat, palm marten, barking deer, as well as some species of birds and reptiles.
