Italy🇮🇹, Milan, Vertical Forest Residential Complex

Bosco Verticale is a unique residential complex in the center of Milan, Italy.

The complex consists of two towers with a height of 76 and 110 meters, with 18 and 26 floors, respectively. A distinctive feature, as you guessed, was the covering of the outer walls with plants and trees, giving them the appearance of an unusual forest. Since this forest stretches upwards, then the name was given to it quite logically — a Vertical Forest.

A total of 900 trees grow in the two towers (550 in the tall building and 350 in the low one). In addition, about 11,000 perennial plants and 5,000 shrubs have been planted here. The amazing urban ecosystem is populated by birds and insects.
