Spain 🇪🇸, Seville, Alcazar (Real Alcazar de Sevilla)
Alcazar is the oldest palace in Europe, where the royal family still lives and official ceremonies are held. The complex covers an area of 55 thousand square kilometers, and is one of the largest in Spain.
The palace was built in the 10th century for Moorish rulers. In the 11th century, it was owned by the legendary Moorish ruler and poet al-Mutamid.
The palace is considered one of the most famous sights of Spain in the Moorish style (in Seville it is known as mudejar).
