Atrani is unlikely to be the first city that comes to mind if you think about Italian beach resorts. But this town is definitely worth a visit if you want to find out what Italy really is. 

Although Atrani is only 1 kilometer from the town of Amalfi, a famous and noisy holiday destination, it is still practically untouched by crowds of tourists. Atrani is one of the most intimate secrets of Italy. 

Atrani is a fishing village with a population of less than a thousand people. He lurked on the border of steep cliffs and the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea near the cities of Pompeii and Naples.
