Canada, Montreal Botanical Garden

This vast botanical garden with an area of 75 hectares, on which thematic gardens and greenhouses are laid out, was declared a National historic Monument of Canada in 2008.

It is considered one of the most important botanical gardens in the world because of the amazing diversity of the collection, as well as the overall landscaping. The greenhouse complex of the park contains plants from all over the world, and each open-air garden is dedicated to some country or place of the globe.

For example, the Chinese garden was planted in 1990-1991 by 50 artists from the Shanghai Institute of Landscape Design and Architecture, and 120 containers of material and 500 tons of stones were imported from Shanghai for this project.
