Bacharach is a small town in Germany in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Located in the center of the picturesque Middle Rhine Valley among green hills and vineyards. 

Bacharach is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Germany, full of half-timbered houses and winding cobbled streets. 

Baharah was founded in the 9th century. In the 11th century, it was first documented. In the Middle Ages, Bacharach was an important transshipment point of the wine trade.
