Nemophila field (this flower is also called the American forget-me-not) in Ibaraki Prefecture in Hitachi Park

Nemophila blooms throughout the summer, until late autumn. This is an unpretentious perennial, which can easily decorate large areas. It covers the soil, preventing weeds from germinating.
