Brennby is an exotic place in Copenhagen that seems ripped out of Hollywood science fiction movies. The design of houses and transport in this commune looks unusual and futuristic.

Brennby was designed by Eric Maikind in 1964 and was originally conceived as a garden city using a symmetrical design. Aerial shots show perfectly circular gardens surrounding each house, creating striking symmetry.
