Spillway at the world's largest hydroelectric power station "Three Gorges" on the Yangtze River

The amount of electricity generated is a record – under 100 billion kWh per year. This allowed China to essentially solve the energy problem.

Recently, they began to say that because of the work of this hydroelectric power station, the poles of the Earth shifted and the length of the day increased.

According to scientists, the dam holds about 45 trillion liters of water, and the water level in the river has become 100 meters higher. Allegedly, this was enough to cause a slowdown in the rotation of our planet.
