Vinicunca is the geographical name of the stunning rainbow mountain in Peru. The incredible and colorful rock formation of the Andes mountain range is located at an altitude of 5200 meters above sea level on the majestic Ausangate glacier, about 90 kilometers southeast of the city of Cusco.

It is usually called the Rainbow Mountain (Montana Arco iris) or the Mountain of seven colors because of the seven shades of the rainbow in color. Vinikunka in all its glory resembles a huge watercolor painting.
