India 🇮🇳

Dudhsagar Waterfall is the most impressive waterfall in Goa and the second highest in all of India. It is located on the eastern border with Karnataka, its height is 603 m.

The name Dudhsagar means "milk sea" — by the color of the constantly foaming water.

There is also a beautiful legend about the Dudhsagar waterfall, explaining its origin. In ancient times, a princess loved to swim in the local lake. She always took a jug of milk with her, and one day, noticing that the prince was watching her, she quickly poured milk into the water to hide her nakedness. Since then, according to legend, white "milk" streams have been flowing down the rocks.
