Turkey 🇹🇷, Lake Salda

Just 2, 5 hours drive from Antalya there is a lake that has made a lot of noise on the Internet and social networks. Whatever they call it: "Turkish Maldives", "a piece of paradise", "the most beautiful lake in the world".

Lake Salda (Salda Gölü) is a crater reservoir of volcanic origin. It is considered one of the cleanest and deepest lakes in Turkey.

The lake is called the Turkish Maldives for its snow-white coastline and clear blue water.

The deposits of hydromagnesite are responsible for the white sand on the lake, and the clay that covers its shores is saturated with magnesium and is considered extremely useful for joints.
