The walls of the Todra Canyon on a 600-meter-long section approach each other at a distance of 10 meters, and clean and smooth side rocks rise 160 meters on each side.
A river runs along the bottom of the gorge in a thin trickle, a scion of that furious stormy river that gnawed the Todra Gorge in the local rocks.
The Todra Gorge is inhabited by local Berbers who ride back and forth on donkeys and camels. It is difficult to imagine how they are not afraid that they will be overwhelmed with stones.
