Every year in Vietnam, from August to November, a water lily is harvested in the Mekong Delta. 

Locals not only enjoy the beauty of flowers, but actively add to different dishes.

The stem of the lily is cut into small pieces and added to dishes.

Pieces of the stem can be mixed with pickled shrimps, and sweet and sour soup can be made from them.
