Philippines 🇵🇭
Chocolate hills are considered the hallmark of the Philippines. And I must say that they are considered by right. There is still a need to look for such a natural curiosity in the world.
They are located on the island of Bohol, there are more than a thousand of them on the island. No one knows the exact amount. According to some sources, there are 1200 of them, according to others 1,776.
The hills, when viewed from a distance, resemble candy truffles in shape. The same convex smooth shape. And in the dry season (February-May), the grass on the hills burns out and they turn brown, just like candy. Hence the delicious name.
