Payam Island (Phayam, Koh Phayam), one of the most underrated Thai islands, is located in the Andaman Sea.

Koh Phayam is a small and remote island that hardly changes over the years. Civilization bypasses this place. There are narrow roads without cars in the Belt, there are no 7-Eleven and supermarkets, and most hotels do not have hot water and air conditioning.

But it is precisely this underdevelopment that seems to attract travelers from all over the world so much. This is probably what Koh Samui looked like 40 years ago.
