The Casa Professa Church in Palermo (the Jesuit priests who took the last vows) is an undeniable jewel of the Sicilian Baroque.

Today we see this interior only thanks to a large-scale restoration completed in 2009. Half of the central nave with a dome and many frescoes were destroyed by an Allied bomb in 1943.
