The Church of Jesu, Chiesa del Gesù, also known as the Casa Professa Church, is one of Palermo's Baroque masterpieces.

The Church in the Holy Name of Jesus or as it is also called - the Church of St. Mary di Jesu casa Professa - a beautiful Baroque church, is one of the most important churches in the city, it is the oldest Jesuit church in Sicily 

The church dates back to the Sicilian Baroque period, when influential religious orders built their own temples.
