La Fenice is an 18th—century opera house, which is the main one in Venice and one of the most prestigious in the world. The premiere of works by great composers such as Giuseppe Verdi, Gioacchino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, Gaetano Donizetti took place on its stage.

The theater hall with 1,000 seats impresses with luxurious Rococo decoration. All the lodges are equally decorated with materials of the XIX century — gold stucco, papier-mache and wood.
