Guyana 🇬🇾

Guyana's main attraction is Kaieteur Falls. It is considered the highest waterfall in the world, but with the caveat that it is the highest single-cascade waterfall ;) Its height is 226 meters. This is four times the height of Niagara Falls and twice the height of Victoria Falls.

The name Kaieteur translates as “the fall of the old man.” According to legend, it was named after an unpleasant old man who was so annoying to his relatives that they put him in a boat and sent him down the river straight into a waterfall.
