The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge across the Golden Gate Strait.

The bridge was opened on May 27, 1937 and until the mid-60s it was the largest suspension bridge in the world. Today it is considered one of the most beautiful in the world and is one of the most famous landmarks in the United States.
