Campo de Piedra Pómez is a natural place in northwestern Argentina, the so-called pumice stone field.

In the protected area, due to the eruptions of nearby volcanoes, a vast accumulation of white and very light pumice was formed. The stones come in unique shapes and colors ranging from creamy white to pink, yellow, orange and more.

Sometimes they look like a sea of ​​white waves, but their shapes change depending on the angle and changes in the light.
