An 88-meter-deep hotel built vertically along a sheer cliff in a water-filled quarry in Shanghai.

The hotel boasts an unusual engineering solution, as well as a stunning view from the sheer cliff inside the quarry, which allows guests to “look straight into the abyss.” The hotel is 18 floors high and houses 336 rooms. Of these, two are under water and two are on the surface of the earth.
