An impressive eco-resort called Habitas AlUla has opened in the ancient desert canyon oasis of Saudi Arabia's Ashar Valley.

The 5-star resort is nestled between breathtaking sandstone cliffs and ancient Nabataean settlements, where a trade route passed as far back as the 1st century AD.

The eco-resort is close to the country's famous attractions, including Alula Old Town, the mirrored Maraya Concert Hall.
