In the Faroe Islands you can observe a rare natural phenomenon - an “inverted waterfall”.

It is formed when a whirlwind of strong wind picks up coastal water, which, splashing, rises up the rock and splashes onto the hill.

Most often, this phenomenon is observed at the Fossadur waterfall, located on the island of Suvoroy.
