The Red Mosque (Jami Ul-Alfar Masjid) in Sri Lanka is a towering building in the heart of Colombo's Petta commercial district.

Every brick of the building is painted red and white. It has Indo-Saracenic architecture with garnet-shaped domes.

Today the mosque is the largest in Sri Lanka, with 10,000 people able to pray there.
