Hutiaoxia Canyon, also called Tiger Leaping Gorge, is located in southwest China.

The canyon runs along the Yangtze River (another name for the Golden Sands River). The river itself consists of many winding currents and rapids under the cliffs, many of which reach heights of up to 2 kilometers.
