The Vøringsfossen waterfall, the fourth highest in Norway, is formed by the Bjoreia River, which falls from the Hardangervidda plateau from a height of 182 meters (including 145 meters of free fall).

Above the waterfall is the famous Fossli Hotel - one of the most interesting historical hotels in Norway, which welcomed its first guests in 1887.
