Shark Bay (also known locally as Ao Thian Og) is a private beach on the island of Koh Tao in Thailand.

There are many trees on the shore that provide shade over the water at high tide. And a little further there is a well-groomed green lawn with palm trees.

This is more of a beach for snorkeling, and sharks that are safe for people are actually often found on the border of the reef - in the morning and in the evening.
