Svalbard is home to the World Seed Vault, located 120 meters deep in the mountain. It stores over 1 million seeds from all over the world. 🌱

In 1920, Spitsbergen was recognized as part of Norway, but under the Spitsbergen Treaty, 42 countries have the right to conduct economic activities there. 💯

About 2,500 people live on Svalbard year-round, while there are more bears on the archipelago than people - about 3,000 individuals. 🐻‍❄️
