Oeschinensee is a lake in Switzerland, located in the Bernese Alps, in the canton of Bern, in the territory of the commune of Kandersteg.

The lake was formed naturally after a landslide on the side of Mount Doldenhorn, which blocked the flow of water from the valley. The surface area of ​​the lake is 1.1147 km², the maximum depth is 56 meters.

Since 2007, the lake has been included in the protected area and UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jungfrau-Aletsch region🙏
