Waterfall in Mauritius🏝

An underwater waterfall near the islands of Mauritius and Le Morne Brabant is visible only from a bird's eye view😲

But why is that?

This is an optical illusion created by nature itself. The optical illusion occurs due to the special topography of the ocean floor formed by coral reefs, deposits of silt and sand, as well as currents near the island.

And the picturesque island of Le Morne Brabant, which looks like a hammerhead fish, partly thanks to the famous optical illusion, has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2008.
