Koh Lipe is a protected paradise island within the Tarutao National Marine Park.

The island is part of Thailand, but is located in the southernmost part of the Andaman Sea, almost on the border with Malaysia.

The beaches on Koh Lipe are very snow-white because the island is of coral origin. The sand is so white that it hurts to look at it in the bright sun☀️ 🩵

It’s a paradox - it’s easier to get to Koh Lipe from the Malaysian resort of Langkawi than from popular resorts in Thailand
