The island of Corva (Port. Ilha Do Corvo, literally the "island of Raven") the northernmost island of the Azores archipelago, belongs to the western group of islands. It is the smallest of the nine islands of the archipelago.
The island is NOSKOSK (the highest point of Mount Morra-Dush-Khomensh, 718 m) and very picturesque-in the north there is an extensive volcanic Calder Kaldeyran about 300 meters deep and 2 km in diameter (in the center of the Calders there are two lakes with small islands in the middle).
In the west and north, it is surrounded by a series of rocky beds, which are part of the Calders of the ancient volcano, and the eastern part is occupied by green hills.
