🌴🌿 Socotra Archipelago, located in Yemen, broke off from the African continent about 6 million years ago, becoming an isolated corner of the world.

🌱 About 37% of the archipelago's vegetation is unique and can't be found anywhere else on Earth. Examples include Dorstenia, the famous Bottle Trees, some aloe species, and the ancient ancestor of all modern pomegranates.

🐉 The Dragon's Blood Tree, a type of Dracaena, is Socotra's symbol. Its forests can be found all over the island, with many trees aged between 300 to 800 years old! 🌿🐉
