Greek Ladder near the village of Verkhniy Chegem, in the heart of Kabardino-Balkaria
This route is a dialogue of stone and time, carved in the Middle Ages, possibly by monks of the Caucasian episcopate, to hide sacred texts in a cave above. The height is 200 meters, the width of the ladder is barely 1.5 meters. Today, you can only climb the first steps—the rest is accessible only to climbers.
