The Katara Towers
These are two 200-meter tall towers in Doha, Qatar, connected at the base and resembling two crossed Arab swords—a symbol of the country. The building, constructed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, includes two luxurious hotels, Fairmont and Raffles, becoming an important architectural landmark and symbol of Qatar.
Fun Fact: The design of the towers is inspired by the traditional Arabian sword, known as a "khanjar," reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region. The towers also feature a unique "sky bridge" that connects the two buildings at the 15th floor, offering stunning panoramic views of the city.
