K2 (8,611 m) - the second highest peak in the world, located on the border of Pakistan and China. Its summit is a true dream for mountaineers, but the path to it is one of the most challenging. The "Black Pyramids," part of the route, are considered one of the most dangerous sections for rock climbing. Discovered by European explorers in 1858, it continues to attract the bravest adventurers.

Fun fact: K2 is known as the "Savage Mountain" due to its extreme difficulty and high fatality rate. Only about 300 people have successfully summited K2, compared to over 5,000 on Mount Everest. 🏔️🌍
