As Russia Moves on Another Province, Ukrainians Leave Ghost Towns Behind

Nina Zakharenko cried when she boarded a minibus evacuating civilians as the Russian Army advanced toward the town where she went to college, met her husband and raised two daughters.

Ms. Zakharenko is 72 now, and may be leaving the town forever.
