Russia’s main independent TV network gets relaunched in Europe.

TV Rain, Russia’s youthful independent news network, returned to screens on Monday, more than four months after it stopped operating in Moscow, shortly after the invasion of Ukraine.

The network is broadcasting from its new studio in Riga, Latvia, and is available to watch via YouTube, which hasn’t been blocked in Russia. More than 36,000 watched the evening news show on Monday evening. The network said it is working on relaunching its mobile apps. Read more
