Zelensky accuses Moscow of waging ‘gas war’ as Europe’s energy ministers gather in Brussels.
EU energy ministers are meeting on Tuesday to debate a plan that would see their countries slash 15 percent of their natural gas consumption to avert an energy meltdown as Russia toys with its supply to the bloc.
Before the meeting, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine accused Moscow of waging “an overt gas war” against “a united Europe” and urged leaders not to give in to Russian blackmail. Read more
