Ukraine calls for sanctions on Iran for selling ‘kamikaze’ drones to Russia.

Ukraine called on the European Union to punish Iran with sanctions for supplying Russia with drones that have increasingly been used to terrorize their country in a spate of deadly attacks.

Russia launched at least 43 Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones, known as “kamikazes,” across Ukraine on Monday morning, according to Ukraine’s air force. Several of the drones, which explode on impact, struck the capital city of Kyiv, and at least four people were killed. Read more
