More strikes on Kyiv raise concerns as winter looms.

Russian strikes on a Kyiv neighborhood on Tuesday hit a piece of energy infrastructure, officials said, the day after a series of drone attacks left at least four dead in the Ukrainian capital.

Other Ukrainian cities far from the front lines were also hit Tuesday morning.

The attack in Kyiv is the latest in recent days that appears to have targeted the country’s electrical infrastructure, leaving towns and cities with rolling blackouts or no power. With winter approaching, the attacks raise concerns that people could struggle to heat their homes. Read more
