After losing Kherson, Russia bombards the city from afar.

Hospital patients were being evacuated from Kherson as Russia stepped up its daily bombardment of the southern port city it retreated from two weeks ago.

Russian forces shelled the city and surrounding area 49 times in the past 24 hours, killing at least 10 civilians and wounding dozens more, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, said on Friday morning. Read more
