A helicopter crash in the Kyiv suburbs on Wednesday morning left at least 18 people dead, including Ukraine’s minister for internal affairs and his deputy, according to the head of the country’s national police service.
At least two children were also killed in the crash, which occurred just outside a school.
The cause of the crash, which involved a State Emergency Service helicopter, was not immediately clear, but there was no initial information that the aircraft had been shot down. Read more
