Ukrainian schools plan to operate remotely the rest of the week, fearing a Russian assault.

Ukrainian schools have been advised to operate remotely later this week, over concern that there could be a surge in Russian attacks timed to the war’s anniversary on Friday.

Serhiy Shkarlet, Ukraine’s education minister, said in a statement on Tuesday that he had recommended schools switch to remote learning from Wednesday through Friday. Read more
