Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s leader, visited a fighter jet plant in the far eastern Russian city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Russian state media reported, continuing a trip that has focused heavily on increasing military ties with Moscow.
Russia expelled two U.S. diplomats on Thursday, officially declaring them “persona non grata” and requiring them to leave the country within seven days. Jeffrey Sillin, a first secretary at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, and David Bernstein, a second secretary, would be required to leave the country for conducting “illegal activities,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
