Lexus UX 300e review: Soothing Japanese coy
The silence and smoothness of motor propulsion are a lovely match for the UX. Electric vehicles can be noisy because they have no engine roar to cover up tyre rumbling and other sounds, but the UX 300e is especially quiet.
This being a Lexus, the battery will probably outlast human civilisation, but officially the UX 300e's lithium-ion pack has an 8-year/200,000km warranty.
