Razer to focus on B2B fintech with ceasing of Razer Pay e-wallet, card
Back in 2017, Razer CEO Tan Min-Liang promised PM Lee in a tweet exchange that he would roll out an e-payment system nationwide in the span of 18 months, and also would send him a proposal for it.
Four years on, the company is backing out of the fruit of this promise -- Razer Pay and the Razer Card will be shut down, with the card not being available for use after this month. Razer Pay will be ceased from the end of next month.
