BTO demand-supply mismatch jumps to 70,000 in 2020
Even though there were more flats launched in 2020 compared to the two years prior, demand has surged by way more — there were 87,800 applications for only 16,800 flats available in last year's new BTO launches.
(for context, 2019 saw 51,400 applications, and 2018 saw 38,500 applications.)
